Das aus einem rohrförmigen Trägerkörper (1) und in Aufnahmen (1a) am vorderen Ende des Trägerkörpers eingelassenen Schneidsegmenten (2) bestehende Hohlbohrwerkzeug ist zwischen den einzelnen Schneidsegmenten (2) mit U-förmig verlaufenden, zum vorderen Ende hin offenen, durch Querschnittsschwächungen gebildete Sollbruchstellen versehen. Die als Ausnehmungen (1b, 1c) ausgebildeten Sollbruchstellen ermöglichen ein Herausbrechen von Schlitzen (1d) für den Durchtritt des Kühlwassers.
