In a device (1) for pumping paints, which can be connected via a suction pipe (35) to a storage tank and via a pressure pipe (37) to a coating apparatus, and consists of a diaphragm pump (21) which is inserted in a closed housing (11) and provided with an inlet valve (25) and an outlet valve (26), and which can be driven by means of an electric motor (51) which can be switched by a pressure switch (71) as a function of the delivery pressure, the inlet valve (25) and the outlet valve (26) are arranged together in a pump head (22) and held by a supporting member (28) which is detachably connected to the pump head (22). Furthermore, a pressure chamber (39), which is connected to the pressure pipe (37) and provided in the pump head (22) and which can be delimited by a control diaphragm (40) acting on the adjusting member (72), is arranged downstream of the outlet valve (26). <??>As a result of this embodiment, a device (1) is created which is compact, inexpensive to produce and enables reliable operation at low feed pressure and noise level. Bei einer Einrichtung (1) zur Förderung von Farben, die über eine Saugleitung (35) an ein Vorratsbehältnis und über eine Druckleitung (37) an ein Auftragsgerät anschließbar ist und aus einer in einem geschlossenen Gehäuse (11) eingesetzten und mit einem Einlaßventil (25) und einem Auslaßventil (26) versehenen Membranpumpe (21) besteht, die mittels eines durch einen Druckschalter (71) in Abhängigkeit von dem Förderdruck schaltbaren Elektromotor (51) antreibbar ist, sind das Einlaßventil (25) und das Auslaßventil (26) gemeinsam in einem Pumpkopf (22) angeordnet und durch ein Stützglied (28) gehalten, das lösbar mit dem Pumpkopf (22) verbunden ist. Des weiteren ist dem Auslaßventil (26) ein an die Druckleitung (37) angeschlossener in dem Pumpkopf (22) vorgesehener Druckraum (39) nachgeschaltet, der durch eine auf das Verstellglied (72) einwirkende Steuermembran (40) begrenzbar ist.
