[origin: JPH02112422A] PURPOSE: To obtain a yarn having relatively wide yarn sizes at a high yarn pulling out speed by specifying parameters of a friction type spinning device having a pair of rollers. CONSTITUTION: This friction spinning machine is provided by setting 40-60 mm diameters of a perforated roller 6 and a imperforated roller 19, 0.5-2 ratio of the diameters of the perforated roller/imperforated roller, 0.10-0.35 mm distance between the roller surfaces having a narrow gap, <=2 mm distance B between a vertical edge 9 of a suction nozzle 7 and a plane 24 connecting both rotary axis lines, 4-10 mm distance C between the vertical edge 8 and the plane 24, 0-22 deg. angle of a vertical side wall 21 of a fiber-feeding passage 5 and the plane 24, (-)10-(+)10 deg. angle of the vertical side wall 23 and the plane, 0.75-2 mm width of an opening part of the passage 5, >=7 mm mean height from the plane 24, 50-100 m/sec airflow speed, 0.1-0.5 mm and 1.0-0.5 mm distances E, F respectively, 15-90 deg. angle of the passage 5 and yarn pulling out direction, and 150-300 m/min yarn pulling out speed.
