[origin: EP0363820A2] Colour-photographic silver halide material having a base, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one layer containing a UV absorber which is solid at room temperature, the UV absorber being dissolved in an oil former and the solution being emulsified in the layer, is distinguished by higher colour densities if the oil former used is at least one organic compound which is liquid at room temperature and meets the following conditions: a) it is saturated, b) it contains at least one ester group or amide group, c) it is electrically neutral and d) its carbon number is 14 to 40.
