[origin: EP0364280A2] A photographic colour element comprising a support bearing a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a coupler capable of releasing a development accelerator or fogging agent on colour development (DARC) characterised in that the emulsion has added thereto photosensitive silver halide grains which are more developable than the grains of said silver halide layer whereby the speed of the emulsion is increased without unduly increasing fog.
