[origin: EP0364321A1] This apparatus comprises a series of extracting grippers consisting of blades (8a, 8b) mounted so as to be able to move on a support consisting of a piece (2) of a flat general shape driven in a rotational movement about a central spindle (3) perpendicular to the piece. The movable blades (8a, 8b) are arranged in the form of one or more radially arranged rows in each of which they are placed at right angles relative to the corresponding radius of rotation, and these blades are mounted so as to be able to move on their support in such a way that their free edges can be alternately pressed tightly against each other or spaced apart. Moreover, means are provided for actuating these blades (8a, 8b), which means are capable of acting on the blades while they are rotating on their support (2) so as to cause the grippers formed by these blades to be tightened and opened at least once per revolution. <??>This apparatus is intended to be used for depilating skin. <IMAGE>
