The bed has first (10) and second (11) lifting means, each mounted in a swivelling manner on the bed frame (1). The first lifting means (10) serve for adjusting and supporting a thigh resting part (5) and the second lifting means (11) serve for adjusting and supporting a calf resting part (6). The two resting parts (5, 6) of an adjustable leg part (4) are connected to each other by swivelling means (3). Coupling means (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) for the mechanical coupling of the lifting means are distinguished by the fact that the lifting means (10, 11) rotate in opposite directions when the leg part (4) is raised or lowered. With the construction shown, various preferred high positions of the legs of a person lying on the bed can be adjusted, such as a high position of the legs without bending the knees or high position of the legs with the heels lying at the same height as or lower or higher than the knees. Despite the variety of the adjustability, only one drive means (17) is present for the adjustment of the leg part (4). <IMAGE>

Das Bett weist erste (10) und zweite (11), je am Bettgestellrahmen (1) schwenkbar gelagerte Hebemittel auf. Die ersten Hebemittel (10) dienen zum Verstellen und Abstützen eines Oberschenkelauflageteiles (5) und die zweiten Hebemittel (11) zum Verstellen und Abstützen eines Unterschenkelauflageteiles (6). Die beiden Auflageteile (5, 6) eines verstellbaren Beinteiles (4) sind mit Schwenkmitteln (3) miteinander verbunden. Kopplungsmittel (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) zum mechanischen Koppeln der Hebemittel zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass sich die Hebemittel (10, 11) beim Anheben oder Absenken des Beinteiles (4) gegensinnig drehen. Mit der gezeigten Konstruktion sind verschiedene bevorzugte Beinhochlagerungen einer auf dem Bett liegenden Person einstellbar, wie Hochlagerung der Beine ohne Knieknick, Hochlagerung der Beine, wobei die Fersen gleich hoch, tiefer oder höher liegen als die Knie. Trotz der vielfältigen Einstellbarkeit ist für die Verstellung des Beinteiles (4) nur ein Antriebsmittel (17) vorhanden.
