Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a billet for the production of composite materials, consisting of a tubular outer part and at least one core or inner part and two sealing parts arranged on the end faces of the tubular outer part, and to a process for the production of the billet. For this purpose, provision is made for the sealing parts to project at least partially into the outer part, a surface pressure prevailing on the fitting surfaces, and, in comparison with the material of the outer part, the sealing parts being formed from a material with at least the same coefficient of expansion and with substantially the same deformation resistance, and with a higher softening temperature. The process according to the invention provides for a shrinking of the sealing parts into the tubular outer part with, if appropriate, subsequent evacuation or filling of the residual cavities with inert gas. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Vormaterial für die Herstellung von Verbundwerkstoffteilen bestehend aus einem rohrförmigen Außenteil und mindestens einem Kern oder Innenteil und zwei am rohrförmigen Außenteil stirnseitig angeordneten Verschlußteilen sowie einem Verfahren zur Herstellung des Vormaterials. Hiezu ist vorgesehen, daß die Verschlußteile zumindest teilweise in den Außenteil ragen, wobei an den Paßflächen eine Flächenpressung herrscht und im Vergleich mit dem Werkstoff des Außenteiles die Verschlußteile aus einem Werkstoff mit mindestens gleichem Ausdehnungskoeffizienten und mit im wesentlichen gleichen Formänderungwiderstand sowie einer höheren Erweichungtemperatur gebildet wird. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren sieht ein Einschrumpfen der Verschlußteile in den rohrförmigen Außenteil mit einer gegebenenfalls nachfolgenden Evakuierung oder Füllung mit Inertgas der Resthohlräume vor.
