[origin: JPH02115050A] PURPOSE: To facilitate the handling of paper dust by forming a housing into an elongated shape and providing the respective narrow-width sides of a paper discharge with support surfaces. CONSTITUTION: This device 1 has a slit-like paper feed 2 on one side and a slit-like paper discharge 3 on the other side. Both sides of the paper discharge 3 are provided with the support surfaces 4, 5. The support surface are formed of flat parts of the cylindrical housing. A housing cover 6 receives the effect of a spring and at this time spring acts in the direction of a contact surface 7 limiting the support surfaces 4 toward the paper discharge 3. The support surface 5 are formed broad, by which the placement on waste receptacles 8 of various widths is made possible. The tightening device formed by the housing cover 6 receiving the spring action and the contact surface 7 secures the device 1 placed on the waste receptacle 8 so as to prevent the slip thereof. As a result, handling quality is improved.
