Abstract (en)
The carding machine is distinguished by the fact that, relative to the axis of rotation (46) of the tambour (17), at least the precarding zone (42), situated between the licker-in and the revolving lid, is subdivided into a plurality of angular regions (45) which all have a uniform angular extension (49) or an integral multiple of this uniform angular extension (49); that, in this zone or in further zones of the carding machine on both front sides of the tambour (17), exchangeable attachment plates (51, 51.1, 51.2), located in pairs opposite each other, can be attached to the carding shields (54), the angular extension of the attachment plates (51, 51.1, 51.2) about the axis of rotation of the tambour (17) corresponding to the uniform angular extension (49) or to an integral multiple of this uniform angular extension (49); and that each pair of attachment plates (51, 51.1, 51.2), located opposite each other, forms with the parts mounted thereon an exchangeable preadjusted module (18.1, 18.2, 18.3, 18.4), the said parts consisting of groups or combinations of identical or different devices of a carding machine, and each one having an angular extension about the axis of rotation (46) of the tambour (17), which extension corresponds to the uniform angular extension (49) or to an integral multiple of this uniform angular extension. <IMAGE>

Die Karde zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß, bezogen auf die Drehachse (46) des Tambours (17), mindestens die sich zwischen Briseur und Wanderdeckel befindliche Vorkardierzone (42) in eine Mehrzahl von Winkelbereichen (45) unterteilt ist, die alle eine einheitliche Winkelerstreckung (49) oder ein integral Vielfaches dieser einheitlichen Winkelerstreckung (49) aufweisen; daß in dieser Zone bzw. in weiteren Zonen der Karde auf beiden Stirnseiten des Tambours (17) auswechselbare, einander paarweise gegenüberliegende Befestigungsplatten (51, 51.1, 51.2) an den Kardenschildern (54) anbringbar sind, wobei die Winkelerstreckung der Befestigungsplatten (51, 51.1, 51.2) um die Drehachse des Tambours (17) der einheitlichen Winkelerstreckung (49) oder einem integralen Vielfachen dieser einheitlichen Winkelerstreckung (49) entspricht; und daß jedes Paar voneinander gegenüberliegenden Befestigungsplatten (51, 51.1, 51.2) mit den darauf montierten Teilen ein auswechselbares vorjustiertes Modul (18.1, 18.2, 18.3, 18.4) bildet, wobei die genannten Teile aus Gruppen oder Kombinationen gleicher oder verschiedener Einrichtungen einer Karde bestehen, und jede eine Winkelerstreckung um die Drehachse (46) des Tambours (17) aufweist, die der einheitlichen Winkelerstreckung (49) oder einem integralen Vielfachen dieser einheitlichen Winkelerstreckung entspricht.
