Abstract (en)
The present invention is an automateo method of making an electrical harness (11) of the type having a plurality of discrete wires (12). One end of some or all of the wires terminates in a connector (18). A wire (30) of a desired type is automatically selected from a plurality of wires (24) that are available for use. The wire (30) is terminated with selected terminals (40,42,64,66) and one end inserted into an appropriate cavity of a selected connector housing (70). Of the selected wires, at least one is of a different type than the others.
