Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02223210A] PURPOSE: To permit a patient to more easily recognize the morpheme structure of vowels and consonants and to improve the perception of sound related to the patient having a hearing handicap by making the peak of a restored signal to be conspicuous in a frequency band affected by faults peculiar to the respective patients. CONSTITUTION: A means 1 receiving the signal of sound and converting it into the electric signal, a means 10 for processing the electric signal and means 14, 19 and 20 for restoring the signal of corrected sound from the processed electric signal are provided. A means 8 for selecting at least one frequency and of the signal is arranged between the means 1 receiving the signal of sound and a means 10 for processing the electric signal corresponding to the means. Thus, the band where the patient is affected by the hearing handicap can be improved.

La présente invention concerne un appareil électronique de traitement d'un signal sonore, du type comportant : - des moyens de réception du signal sonore et de transformation de celui-ci en un signal électrique, - des moyens de traitement dudit signal électrique, et - des moyens de restitution d'un signal sonore modifié, à partir dudit signal électrique traité. Selon l'invention, l'appareil comprend des moyens de sélection (8) d'au moins une bande de fréquences dudit signal, disposés entre lesdits moyens de réception (1) du signal sonore et lesdits moyens de traitement (10) du signal électrique correspondant. L'invention s'applique notamment à des prothèses auditives.
