Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH02154023A] PURPOSE: To provide a device for monitoring a thread on a textile machine capable of simultaneously performing the monitor of the presence of thread and quality control of thread by installing a light emitter at one side of a thread path and a light receptor at the other side and passing a light beam radiated from the light emitter through a specific position. CONSTITUTION: In this device for monitoring a thread equipped with a monitoring needle which is brought into contact with a thread traveling on a textile machine, especially a warper and displaces a pivotal motion when the thread is cut, a light emitter 7 is installed at one side of a thread path and a light receptor 16 is disposed at the other side. A light beam 29 radiated from the light emitter 17 is passed through the plane of the thread and the pivotal movement region between a thread contact position and a displacement position of a monitoring needle 19. A control signal is released by the irregular part of the thread in the plane of the thread or the pivotal movement of the monitoring thread 19.

Eine Wächternadel (19) ist unter Federvorspannung in einem Gehäuse (18) drehbeweglich gelagert. In der Ebene des Fadens (5) und im Schwenkbereich der Wächternadel (19) ist eine Lichtsender-/Lichtempfänger-Anordnung am Gehäuse (18) befestigt, welche sowohl bei Fadenunregelmässigkeit als auch beim Ueberfahren der Wächternadel ein Steuersignal produziert.
