Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02169478A] PURPOSE: To easily and quickly cope with various operating conditions and traffic conditions by comparing the modified all response cost of all elevators for each scanner position and assigning a double car having the minimum modified all response cost to a memory. CONSTITUTION: The modified all response cost of all elevators are compared for each scanner position by a comparing device 14 in the cost comparing period including al elevators of an elevator group. A double car 4 having the minimum modified all response cost is recorded as a double car most suitable for responding to the designation of the floor existing in the corresponding scanner position into a double car car/call assignment memory RAM 12, or immediately assigned. Therefore, this method can cope with various operating conditions and traffic conditions in consideration of the relative effect of cost for both unit cars 5, 6.
