In order to provide increased throughput and occupation of the bath stations (12) with minimum space requirement in a transfer installation (10) for cleaning and electroplating processes having an inlet station and outlet station for the objects to be treated, having a plurality of bath stations (12) along a transport length extending between the inlet station and outlet station, and having a transfer device for transporting the objects along the transport length and for charging and emptying the bath stations (12), with side trucks (16, 18) held on lateral guides, it is proposed that the transfer device of the bath stations (12) comprises a second guide (22) for a second side truck (18) along the transport length and that the two side trucks (16, 18) associated with the first and second guide (20, 22) are movable independently of one another, essentially along the entire transport length. <IMAGE>

Um bei einer Umsetzer-Anlage (10) für Reinigungs- und Galvanoprozesse mit einer Eingangs- und einer Ausgangsstation für die zu behandelnden Gegenstände, mit mehreren Badstationen (12) entlang einer sich zwischen der Eingangs- und der Ausgangsstation erstreckenden Transportstrecke und mit einer Umsetzvorrichtung zum Transport der Gegenstände entlang der Transportstrecke und zum Beschicken und Entleeren der Badstationen (12) mit an seitlichen Führungen gehaltenen Seitenwagen (16, 18) bei minimalem Platzbedarf einen gesteigerten Durchsatz und Belegungsgrad der Badstationen (12) zu ermöglichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Umsetzvorrichtung der Badstationen (12) entlang der Transportstrecke eine zweite Führung (22) für einen zweiten Seitenwagen (18) umfaßt und daß die beiden, der ersten und zweiten Führung (20, 22) zugeordneten Seitenwagen (16, 18) unabhängig voneinander, im wesentlichen entlang der gesamten Transportstrecke verfahrbar sind.
