The invention relates to a colour-photographic developing bath for developing imagewise exposed silver halide materials which contain, on a reflecting film base, at least three light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers of different spectral sensitivity, which are each spectrally associated with a cyan coupler, magenta coupler and a yellow coupler. The development takes place in the developing baths I and II, the developer content in the developing bath I being greater, when the developing baths are in use, than in the developing bath II and the halide content in the developing bath I being smaller than in the developing bath II. As a result, the development of the yellow layer located at the bottom is promoted, so that a substantially better colour balance is obtained.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein farbfotografisches Entwicklerbad zur Entwicklung von bildmäßig belichteten Silberhalogenidmaterialien, die auf einem reflektierenden Schichtträger mindestens drei lichtempfindliche Silberhalogenidemulsionsschichten unterschiedlicher Spektralempfindlichkeit, denen ein Blaugrünkuppler, ein Purpurkuppler und ein Gelbkuppler jeweils spektral zugeordnet ist, enthalten. Die Entwicklung findet in den Entwicklungsbädern I und II statt, wobei im Gebrauchszustand der Entwicklungsbäder der Entwicklergehalt im Entwicklungsbad I größer ist als im Entwicklungsbad II und der Halogenidgehalt im Entwicklungsbad I kleiner ist als im Entwicklungsbad II. Dadurch wird die Entwicklung der unten liegenden Gelbschicht begünstigt, so daß ein wesentlich besseres Farbgleichgewicht erreicht wird.
