Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to the drying and the grinding of wet materials, for example of one or more raw materials for the manufacture of a cement clinker and, more particularly, the processes and equipment using, for these operations, a rotary tubular ball mill divided into several chambers and equipped with an inlet at each of its ends and peripheral discharge orifices located between the coarse- grinding and fine-grinding chambers. With a view to reducing the specific consumption and to increasing, for a given dimensioning of the tubular mill, the capacity of the equipment of the type described hereinabove, the dried and partially ground product emerging from the coarse-grinding chamber (20) is subjected to grinding by crushing in a forced-feed roll mill (12) and at least a fraction of the product emerging from the said roll mill is introduced into the fine-grinding chamber (22) of the tubular mill (10), the product emerging from this latter chamber being conveyed into a classifier (14). <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne le séchage et le broyage de matières humides, par exemple d'une ou plusieurs matières premières pour la fabrication d'un clinker de ciment, et plus particulièrement les procédés et installations utilisant pour ces opérations un broyeur tubulaire rotatif à boulets divisé en plusieurs chambres et muni d'une entrée à chacune de ses extrémités et d'orifices de sortie périphériques situés entre les chambres de prébroyage et de broyage fin. En vue de diminuer la consommation spécifique et d'augmenter, pour un dimensionnement donné du broyeur tubulaire, la capacité des installations du type décrit ci-dessus, le produit séché et partiellement broyé sortant de la chambre de prébroyage (20) est soumis à un broyage par écrasement dans un broyeur à cylindres à alimentation forcée (12) et au moins une fraction du produit sortant dudit broyeur à cylindres est introduit dans la chambre de broyage fin (22) du broyeur tubulaire (10), le produit sortant de cette dernière chambre était envoyé dans un classificateur (14).
