[origin: WO8810507A1] A fluorescent lamp has a foot composed of tubular sections and made in a single welding operation. The tubular foot (1) consists of a low flared part (2) containing a pair of electrodes (4, 5) which are sealed into the glass (3, 15) at the same time as a hollow central support rod (7) for the second pair of electrodes is welded, and a tube (9). During welding, a punch (16) compressed by a clip (14) maintains the internal diameter of the central tube in order to allow passage of the lead-in wires (24). Production of the foot according to the invention permits simple, reliable, and economical construction of a fluorescent lamp.

L'invention concerne la réalisation d'une ampoule fluorescente dont le pied formé de portions tubulaires et réalisé en une seule opération de soudure. Le pied (1) tubulaire de cette ampoule fluorescente est constitué par une partie basse évasée (2) comportant une paire d'électrodes (4, 5) lesquelles sont enverrées (3) (15) en même temps qu'est effectuée la soudure (7) d'une tige centrale creuse de support de la deuxième paire d'électrodes (17, 18), et d'un queusot (9). Durant la soudure, écrasé par la pince (14), un poinçon (16) maintient le diamètre intérieur du tube central pour le passage des fils d'amenée de courant (24). La réalisation du pied selon l'invention permet la construction aisée, fiable, et bon marché d'une ampoule fluorescente.
