Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2002027A1] Packaging means for fluent materials and comprising an opening device The invention describes a container for liquids and comprising a tube (1) at the upper end of which there is a lid (8) consisting of thermoplastics synthetic material without any carrier material and which is injection moulded along the top edge (9) of the tube (1), and comprising a pouring means (22) with a closure flap (17). The closure flap (17) is captively articulated on the lid (8) by means of an articulating axis (28), on the side opposite the tip (26) of the pouring aperture (27), being adapted to be engaged on the lid in the open condition via an engaging means (29). In order to combine economy of production for the manufacturer with an improvement of such a packaging means, so that the closure flap can be kept open and can nevertheless be pressed down again into as far as possible a clearly defined position in order to reclose the container, it is according to the invention envisaged that the handle (14) be connected via a curved articulating member (33 to the middle portion (2) of the lid (8), the curved articulating member (3) preferably being provided on the surface (24) of the lid (8), alongside the engaging means (29).
