Date May 3, 1990.A method and an apparatus for cleaning objects with environmentally harmful solvents, particularly halogenated hydrocarbons, in a system which is substantially closed during the cleaning process provides a solution for simplifying the transporting and particularly the handling of such solvents, wherein the endangerment of persons and environment is simultaneously reduced to the lowest possible degree or completely prevented, and which achieves in particular an optimal utilization and recovery of the solvent. This is achieved in that a portion of this solvent is conveyed into a processing space from a large-volume reservoir tank, in that the objects to be cleaned are subsequently wetted with the solvent located in the processing space and cleaned by means of it, the solvent is guided back out of the processing space into a collecting tank after one or more cleaning processes and/or the gas atmosphere in the processing space is filtered and cleaned prior to the removal of the cleaned objects. Mit einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zum Reinigen von Gegenständen mit umweltgefährdenden Lösungsmitteln, insbesondere Halogenkohlenwasserstoffen, in einem währen des Reinigungsvorganges im wesentlichen geschlossenen System soll ein Lösung geschaffen werden, mit der der Transport und insbesondere die Handhabung derartiger Lösungsmittel vereinfacht wird, wobei gleichzeitig die Gefährdung von Mensch und Umwelt auf das gereingstmögliche Maß reduziert bzw. vollständig vermieden und mit der insbesondere eine optimale Ausnutzung und Rückgewinnung des Lösungsmittels erreicht wird. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß aus einem großvolumigen Vorratstank (3) an Lösungsmittel ein Teil dieses Lösungsmittels in einen Bearbeitungsraum (5) gefördert wird, daß nachfolgend die zu reinigenden Gegenstände (9) mit dem im Bearbeitungsraum (5) befindlichen Lösungsmittel benetzt und durch dieses gereinigt werden, nach einen oder mehreren Reinigungsvorgängen das Lösungsmittel aus dem Bearbeitungsraum (5) in einen Auffangtank (4) zurückgefördert und/oder vor Entnahme der gereinigten Gegenstände die Gasatmosphäre im Bearbeitungsraum (5) gefiltert und gereinigt wird.
