The invention relates to an electrical connection arrangement for the electrical contact system of an air bag, having a short-circuit bridge arrangement in a plug which consists of a counter-contact housing and a jack housing made of plastic, compartments in which connectors (16) attached to electric lines are located being fashioned in the two housings, and the housings of the plug being joined to one another by means of a hinge and a short-circuit bridge (35), (32), (30), (31), being provided in each case between two adjacent contacts in such a way that when the plug is open the adjacent contacts are short-circuited first of all before the connectors of the plug are disconnected. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Schaltanordnung für die elektrische Kontakteinrichtung eines Airbags mit einer Kurzschlußbrückenanordnung in einem Stecker, der aus einem Gegenkontaktgehäuse und einem Kontaktbuchsengehäuse aus Kunststoff besteht, wobei in den beiden Gehäusen Kammern eingebracht sind, in denen an elektrische Leitungen angeschlagene Verbinder (16) sitzen, und wobei die Gehäuse des Steckers scharnierend miteinander in Verbindung stehen und eine Kurzschlußbrücke (35),(32),(30),(31), jeweils zwischen benachbarten Kontakten derart vorgesehen ist, daß beim Öffnen des Steckers zunächst die benachbarten Kontakte kurzgeschlossen werden, bevor die Verbinder des Steckers getrennt werden.
