[origin: EP0367274A2] In order to improve an extensible guide for extensions being extendible from a body having two guide rails guided displaceably on each other in the direction of extension, of which the outer guide rail surrounds the inner guide rail in a C-shape and of which the inner guide rail can be fixedly connected either to the extension or to the body, in such a way that a double extension can be achieved with the most simple and inexpensive means, it is proposed that the outer guide rail is guided displaceably parallel to the direction of extension at at least two points arranged at a distance from each other by at least one holding piece, that the holding piece can be fixedly connected to the body or the extension, that the outer guide rail is guided by the holding piece on its top side and underside, that stop elements are provided which interact with the outer guide rail and with the holding piece, and that displacement of the outer guide rail relative to the holding piece is possible from an end position of insertion. <IMAGE>
