Method for the regeneration of a particle filter of a diesel engine <??>The aim of the method is a particle filter which can be regenerated in all operating points of the diesel engine with the aid of a burner operating in the full flow of the engine exhaust. <??>The solution is achieved by a burner (3) to which fuel and oxygen- containing gas are fed in a variable ratio. As a result, the burner can produce the output required for achieving the regeneration temperature at any operating point of the diesel engine. <??>The method is suitable for diesel engines with thermally regenerable particle filters. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zur Regeneration eines Partikelfilters eines Dieselmotors Ziel des Verfahrens ist ein Partikelfilter, das mit Hilfe eines im Vollstrom des Motorabgases arbeitenden Brenners in allen Betriebspunkten des Dieselmotors regenerierbar ist. Die Lösung erfolgt durch einen Brenner (3), dein Brennstoff und sauerstoffhaltiges Gas in variierbarem Verhältnis zugeführt wird. Dadurch kann der Brenner die an jedem Betriebspunkt des Dieselmotors zum Erreichen der Regenerationstemperatur erforderliche Leistung erbringen. Das Verfahren eignet sich für Dieselmotoren mit thermisch regenerierbaren Partikelfiltern.
