Abstract (en)
According to the invention, a thermoplastic coating material in solid form is continuously conveyed into a heating and spreading block (1), the material being progressively softened in the block and conveyed in liquid form under the block in order successively to be distributed, flattened and spread on the runner (12) of the ski, then expelled under pressure by a transverse scraper (14) which is integral with the spreading block (1). The scraper (14) is a steel bar of rectangular cross-section, the lower edge (16) of which extends slightly below the lower surface (8) of the spreading block (1). The extension of the lower edge, the inclination of its front surface, the speed of displacement and the pressing force are chosen in an appropriate manner. <IMAGE>
Abstract (fr)
Selon l'invention, on achemine en continu un matériau d'apport thermoplastique sous forme de solide dans un patin de chauffe et d'étalage (1), le matériau étant progressivement ramolli dans le patin et acheminé sous forme liquide sous le patin pour être successivement réparti, écrasé, étalé sur la semelle (12) de ski, puis chassé sous pression par un racloir transversal (14) solidaire du patin d'étalage (1). Le racloir (14) est un barreau d'acier à section rectangulaire dont l'arête inférieure (16) dépasse légèrement au dessous de la face inférieure (8) de patin d'étalage (1). On choisit de manière appropriée le dépassement de l'arête inférieure, l'inclinaison de sa face antérieure, la vitesse de déplacement et la force d'appui.
