Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH02247409A] PURPOSE: To technically adjust and control the air supply to a catalytic burner, by constituting a primary air drawing-off member in such a way that primary air can be drawn off outside a conduit independently and separately from the air flow circulated through the conduit. CONSTITUTION: In a hot air generating device, a primary air drawing-off member is positioned so that primary air may be drawn off outside a conduit separately and independently from the air flow circulated through the conduit. Since a catalytic burner is made to be independent of electrical connection by incorporating a fuel gas cartridge 7 and a power source 8 in the burner, the burner can be operated independently of a fan. The main body 1 of a hot air generating device is composed of a first portion 9 forming an air circulating conduit from the front section to the rear section of the device and a tubular second portion 10 which houses the fuel gas cartridge 7 and, at the same time, can be held by the hand of a user. A protective grid 11 is provided on the rear side of the conduit and an air outlet 12 is provided on the front side of the conduit.
