Abstract (en)
A pusher leg (1) for supporting drill apparatus (D) during drilling has an elongate cylinder (2) and a piston slidably movable along inside the cylinder (2). A piston rod (3) is connected to the piston and projects from an upper end of the cylinder, and the drill apparatus can be mounted on the piston rod (3). A valve control means (5) controls flow of a pressurised hydraulic working fluid to and from the cylinder for moving the piston and piston rod relative to the cylinder and pushing the drill apparatus.
