[origin: EP0367930A1] A shelving unit is concerned which has a support frame, which can be moved in front of the shelves, for a raisable and lowerable charging and withdrawal device. The support frame (3) is designed as a frame which is open at the bottom and has vertical guide profiles (4) for a lifting frame (9) which is guided in a raisable and lowerable manner in the support frame (3), which lifting frame is extendable telescopically at the bottom from the support frame (3). This lifting frame (9) in turn has travel rails (10) for a charging and withdrawal table (5) which can be moved at height in the lifting frame (9). There is thus the possibility of using a support frame (3) having ground clearance so that the region below the support frame (3) for the material flow remains free. However, a satisfactory charging and emptying also of the lower shelf compartments (3) below the support frame (3) is achieved by the telescoping lifting frame (9) and the charging and withdrawal table (5) moveable therein. <IMAGE>
