[origin: EP0367951A1] The invention relates to a miller for removing a road surfacing. When road surfacings are removed by means of relatively large millers, work remains to be done in the area of the manhole covers, gullies, road junctions or the like, which work cannot be carried out with the large miller. According to the invention, provision is made for arranging on the miller a supporting arm (30) having a milling head (39, 39a) arranged on its front end. The supporting arm (30) is adjustable transversely to the longitudinal axis (14) of the miller as well as along this axis so that, when the miller is stationary, the milling head (39, 39a) can be adjusted in a plane in the X-direction and Y-direction. By superimposing the regulating movements in the X-direction and Y-direction, any curve can be milled with the miller according to the invention so that the work remaining to be done can easily be carried out. <IMAGE>
