Cladding plate (1, 2) provided with a shaped surface (7, 8). For the removal of water which penetrates in the lateral edge region of the plates, known cladding plates have a water guide strip provided in the edge region, which transfers the water from one plate to the next. In order to prevent an overfilling of the water guide strips (9) in the case of a large number of plates arranged one above another, the drainage of the water is carried out from each water guide strip (9) of a plate to the upper side and there to the plate plane of the neighbouring lower plates. <IMAGE>

Mit einer Oberflächenprofilierung (7, 8) versehene Verkleidungsplatte (1, 2). Die bekannten Verkleidungsplatten haben zum Abführen des im seitlichen Randbereich der Platten eindringenden Wassers eine im Randbereich vorgesehene Wasserführungsleiste, die das Wasser von einer Platte zur anderen Platte übergibt. Um eine Überfüllung der Wasserführungsleisten (9) bei einer Vielzahl übereinander angeordneter Platten zu vermeiden, erfolgt die Ableitung des Wassers aus jeder Wasserführungsleiste (9) einer Platte auf die Oberseite und dort auf die Plattenebene der benachbarten unteren Platten.
