Abstract (en)
A pump (1) (Fig. 1) is designed as a diaphragm pump and, on the crank case side, has a noise-screening device (13) at a distance from its pump diaphragm (6). Said device seals off in a noise-damping manner that part of the pump casing which is remote from the pump in relation to the pump diaphragm (6). The screening device (13) essentially has a diaphragm-like wall part (15) which is held at a distance under prestress by a resilient ring (16) supported against the underside (17) of the small end (10) of the connecting rod. The prestress is such that natural vibrations of this wall part are avoided by virtue of alternating compressive vibrations of the pump diaphragm (6). The crank case (14) is thereby sealed off in a noise-damping manner, making a cooling facility readily possible without the risk of noise emission to the outside. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Pumpe (1) (Fig. 1) ist als Membranpumpe ausgebildet und weist mit Abstand zu ihrer Pumpenmembrane (6) kurbelgehäuseseitig eine Geräusch-Abschirmeinrichtung (13) auf. Diese schließt den pumpenfernen Teil des Pumpengehäuses gegenüber der Pumpenmembrane (6) schalldämpfend ab. Die Abschirmeinrichtung (13) weist im wesentlichen ein membranartiges Wandteil (15) auf, welches durch einen sich an der Unterseite (17) des Pleuelkopfes (10) abstützenden, elastischen Ring (16) unter Vorspannung auf Abstand gehalten wird. Die Vorspannung ist so bemessen, daß Eigenschwingungen dieses Wandteiles durch Druckwechselschwingungen der Pumpenmembrane (6) vermieden werden. Der Kurbelraum (14) ist dadurch schallgedämpft abgeschlossen, so daß gut eine Kühlung ohne Gefahr einer Geräuschemission nach außen möglich ist.
