Damit Stabmesser (32) möglichst genau geschliffen werden können, ist es wesentlich, die Stabmesser (32) möglichst in der Nähe der zu schleifenden Flächen (39) festzuklemmen. Zu diesem Zweck werden die Stabmesser (32) durch zwei Klauen (17,18) eines Klemmhebels (11,12) gegen zwei Anschlagflächen (33a,33b;34a,34b) angedrückt, wobei die eine Klaue (17) in der Nähe der zu schleifenden Fläche (39) elastischer ausgebildet ist als die andere Klaue (17). Insbesondere wird die Klaue (17) in der Nähe der zu schleifenden Fläche (39) des Stabmessers (32) stärker als die andere Klaue (18) an das Stabmesser (32) angedrückt.
