Abstract (en)
The process described envisages that, in a measurement station with fixed cable end, first of all only the angular distance from a first defined rotation angle position is measured by mechanical sensing, and then the cable end (14) is brought into the first rotation angle position by means of a translation movement and a rotary movement by the measured angular distance in an alignment station and, if necessary, is turned further by the predetermined angle after colour detection. For sensing the position of the wires, a sensing member (16) mounted so as to be rotatably and axially displaceable and which is coupled to a rotational angle signal sensor (46, 48), which encloses individual wires (12) with sensing fingers (20) or engages in the external intermediate spaces of the wires (12). Das beschriebene Verfahren sieht vor, daß zunächst in einer Meßstation bei festgelegtem Kabelende durch mechanische Abtastung nur der Winkelabstand von einer ersten definierten Drehwinkelstellung gemessen wird, und dann das Kabelende (14) durch eine Translationsbewegung und eine Drehbewegung um den gemessenen Winkelabstand in einer Ausrichtstation in die erste Drehwinkelstellung gebracht und nach Farberkennung ggf. um vorbestimmte Winkel weitergedreht wird. Zum Abtasten der Stellung der Adern ist ein drehbar und axial verschieblich gelagertes Tastorgan (16), welches mit einem Drehwinkel-Signalgeber (46, 48) gekoppelt ist, vorgesehen, welches mit Tastfingern (20) einzelne Adern (12) umgreift oder in die äußeren Zwischenräume der Adern (12) eingreift. Während des Abtastvorgangs ist das Tastorgan (16) von allen Antrieben getrennt.
