Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0368219A2] In tachographs of this kind it is necessary to provide means which permit an adjustment of the diagram disc interaction means to the current time. It is intended that, in order to restrict possibilities of manipulation, the adjustment should only be possible when the respective tachograph is not ready to record. To provide details, a wobble plate-like driver (36) is arranged on a control shaft (26) mounted in the tachograph, which driver engages in an actuating shaft (59) and brings about an axial movement of the actuating shaft (59) when the control shaft (26) is actuated, for example to issue a diagram disc. In this case, the control shaft (59) engages axially via a coupling means (60, 61) with a transmission shaft (42) located in the drive connection to the diagram disc interaction means or to the time display means. Only in this way can an actuating movement of the actuating element (16) be transmitted to the drive of the diagram disc interaction means. <IMAGE>
