[origin: EP0368680A1] Method and device for treating textile articles in the drum of a washing machine in which the articles are loaded into the drum together with a dispensing device (1) containing detergent or like composition, the device having at least one opening (4) through which it can be filled and the contents dispensed, the device having a smooth resilient wall (2, 32, 33) which is deformed by the wash liquor loaded articles as the drum rotates to pump the composition out of the device into the wash liquor.
