Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02171488A] PURPOSE: To make front surfaces of slats approximately flush by coupling two half-slats which are approximately symmetrical with each other at a flexible joining part, and simultaneously extruding them. CONSTITUTION: Two hollow half-slats 1, 2 coupled with each other at a flexible joining part 3 are formed by extruding a plastic material, and a section at the joining part 3 is of polygonal shape with acute parts 4 directed to a center part. A slat comprises a first side part 5 and a right angle part 6 of a front surface of the slat, a second side part 7 and an acute angle part 8 of a transverse surface, a third side part 9 and an approximately right angle part 10, and a fourth side part 11, and the approximately right angle part 10 is a farthest part of the first side part 5. A T-shaped rib 12 is provided on the outer side of the second side part 7 of the half-slat 2 to be engaged with a corresponding groove 13 formed in the adjacent half-slat 1 in a mating manner. The front surface of the slat can be approximately flush irrespective of the position.
