The invention relates to a device for supplying fuel to a motor vehicle, with a dispensing hose (3) which is provided with a dispensing valve (4) and, when not being used, is arranged with a considerable part of its length in a housing (7) and, for refuelling, can be pulled out of the housing (7) by means of the dispensing valve (4) counter to a return force into a use position required in the particular case. In order to ensure that, in the use position, the dispensing hose rests freely on the ground between its emergence from the housing and a point below the dispensing valve hooked into the filler pipe of the motor vehicle to be refuelled, the dispensing hose (3) is relieved of the return force in the respective use position. This is achieved by a locking mechanism (25) which automatically locks a return movement of the dispensing hose (3) when the respective use position is reached, the locking effect of which can be selectively cancelled for the retraction of the dispensing hose (3) into the housing (7) by means of the return force which is constantly present when the dispensing hose (3) has been pulled out. The locking mechanism (25) acts, in particular, on a deflection pulley (13b) for the guidance of a weight (15) which produces the return force acting on the dispensing hose (3). <IMAGE>

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zur Abgabe von Kraftstoffen an Kraftfahrzeuge mit einem mit einem Zapfventil (4) versehenen Zapfschlauch (3), der bei Nichtgebrauch mit einem wesentlichen Teil seiner Länge in einem Gehäuse (7) angeordnet und zum Betanken mittels des Zapfventils (4) entgegen einer Rückzugskraft aus dem Gehäuse (7) in eine jeweils benötigte Gebrauchsstellung herausziehbar ist. Um zu erreichen, daß der Zapfschlauch in der Gebrauchsstellung zwischen seinem Austritt aus dem Gehäuse und einer Stelle unterhalb des in den Tankstutzen des zu betankenden Kraftfahrzeuges eingehängten Zapfventils frei auf dem Boden aufliegt, ist der Zapfschlauch (3) in der jeweiligen Gebrauchsstellung von der Rückzugskraft entlastet. Dies wird durch ein Gesperre (25) erreicht, das bei Erreichen der jeweiligen Gebrauchsstellung eine Rückzugsbewegung des Zapfschlauches (3) selbsttätig sperrt und dessen Sperrwirkung zum Zurückziehen des Zapfschlauches (3) in das Gehäuse (7) mittels der bei ausgezogenem Zapfschlauch (3) ständig vorhandenen Rückzugskraft gezielt aufhebbar ist. Das Gesperre (25) wirkt insbesondere auf eine Umlenkrolle (13b) zur Führung eines Gewichtes (15), welches die auf den Zapfschlauch (3) wirkende Rückzugskraft erzeugt.
