[origin: EP0369257A2] A plug (10) for the electrical connection of motor vehicle trailers has a plug housing (12) which has a bayonet connecting part (16) for connecting the socket and an inner sleeve (18) received in the housing (12), the inner surface of the bayonet connecting part resting on the outer surface of said inner sleeve, the inner sleeve (18) and the bayonet connecting part (16) being rotatable in relation to one another.
