[origin: EP0369483A1] The installation for powder-coating long objects comprises four treatment stations (I to IV), which comprise elongated booths (1), which are arranged parallel to one another with a respective buffer separation (V) transverse to the transport direction of a transport device (9). In each case, the booths have a treatment unit (5 to 8), which is matched to the particular treatment process. These treatment units can be moved in the booth, which has a working area (2) and, at each end, a standby area (3), which serves to accommodate the treatment unit, when the booths are to be cleaned or charged with long objects. The transport of the objects to be treated takes place cyclically, the objects to be treated being introduced from above into the particular booth and removed once again upwards. The objects are pretreated, i.e. cleaned, degreased, phosphatised and rinsed in the treatment station (I). The objects are dried in the treatment station (II).
