[origin: EP0369484A1] The booth (1) for electrostatic powder coating of objects has an essentially rectangular cross-section with rounded transitions (4, 5) between the side walls (6) and the ceiling and floor region (2, 7). Provided in the upper rounded transitions (4) are spray devices (16), which consist in each case of a waterpipe (17) and attached wide-angle spray nozzles (18). For the purpose of cleaning the surfaces of the inner walls of the booth, the powder spray and extraction devices (9, 10), which are combined in each case to form a unit and can be moved on longitudinal rails (8), are moved from the working area (13) into a standby area (14) outside the working area, whereupon the spraying down of the inner walls can commence. The wide-angle spray nozzles (18) are arranged so that they generate a uniform water film on all inner wall surfaces, and thus in the ceiling region (2) there is provided in the floor region (7) of the booth a collecting trough (19) for the spray liquid loaded with powder particles. <IMAGE>
