[origin: EP0369853A1] This device comprises, for each arm, a block (7) sliding in a section (5) fixed to the bottom of the window and intended for receiving one end (11) of the arm (4); the block (7) is formed from two half-blocks (8, 9) movable slideably relative to one another and equipped with means (12, 13, 14, 15) allowing them to be locked in two successive stable positions during assembly, a first position in which the block (7) has a limited freedom of translational movement in relation to the section (5), and a second position which is assumed after the introduction of the said end (11) and the movement by the latter of one half-block (8) relative to the other (9) in which the block (7) can slide freely in the window bottom section. By means of the structure of this device, the coupling can be carried out automatically by robot on vehicle assembly lines. <IMAGE>
