[origin: JPH02242702A] PURPOSE: To provide a packaging method adaptable to the products of a reasonable unit price by manufacturing a bolster into the elongated shape and indefinite length in a desired packaging site, and feeding the bolster near a container to insert the same between an inner wall of the container and a packaged product. CONSTITUTION: A bolster is continuously manufactured at a 'desired' packaging site, and placed between a container 36 and at least one product guided close to the container, and the product is finally inserted into the container 36 so that the bolster is placed between an inner wall of the container 36 and the packaged product. A bolster comprises at least one long soft base material 34 of indefinite length, intended to be trimmed to the dimension required at the packaging site, and this base material 34 holds a cushion at a specific position. The base material of the bolster comprises at least two films weldable to make cushions or bulges filled with a swelling agent. Whereby the bolster can be applied to the products of a reasonable unit price.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de conditionnement. Elle concerne aussi une cale de conditionnement et une chaîne de conditionnement mettant en oeuvre le procédé de l'invention. La cale de l'invention, particulièrement adaptée au procédé de l'invention, comporte au moins un support souple de forme allongée de longueur indéfinie, destiné à être découpé à la dimension requise sur le site de conditionnement, le support portant des éléments d'écartement (40) du produit à conditionner à des positions déterminées, ladite cale est remarquable en ce que le support comporte au moins deux feuilles (42, 43) soudables l'une à l'autre de façon à constituer des coussins ou des boudins emplis d'un agent gonflant..
