Abstract (en)
The present invention is in the field of domestic utilities. Its subject is a folding partition intended to convert a bath into a shower cubicle, the said partition being of the type comprising a plurality of panels which are articulated and/or mounted slidably on one another, one of them being capable of pivoting about, and sliding vertically along, a slide rail fixed to the wall above one edge of the bath, the said panels being capable of being folded back against the wall, and principally characterised in that, when the partition is folded back, the visible face 2 of the said partition 1 is a mirror, as a result of which in addition to the function of avoiding protruding parts when folded out, the partition also has the function of a large-size mirror which can be used, by virtue of its ability to pivot, together with a fixed mirror arranged, for example, above a washbasin, in order to permit the user to view himself from behind. <IMAGE>

La présente invention est du domaine des commodités domestiques. Elle a pour objet une paroi repliable destinée à transformer une baignoire en cabine de douche, ladite paroi étant du genre comprenant une pluralité de panneaux articulés et/ou montés coulissants l'un sur l'autre, l'un deux pouvant pivoter autour, et coulisser verticalement le long, d'une coulisse fixée au mur surmontant un bord de la baignoire, lesdits panneaux pouvant être repliés contre le mur, et principalement caractérisée en ce que, la paroi étant repliée, la face visible 2 de la dite paroi 1 est un miroir, d'où il résulte qu'à la fonction d'éviter, à l'état déplié les projections, la paroi ajoute celle d'un miroir de grande dimension qui peut coopérer, grâce à ses possibilirés de pivotement, avec un miroir fixe, disposé par exemple au-dessus d'un lavabo, pour permettre à l'utilisateur sa vision de dos.
