[origin: EP0369915A1] The electrical heating cable is formed from a good heat-conducting strip having a longitudinal median groove in which the electrical cable (3) is housed and maintained. It is bent into a winding line each cycle of which comprises an elbow (2a) in a first direction, followed by a first rectilinear segment (1a), followed by an elbow (2b) in the second direction, followed by a second rectilinear segment (1b), parallel and equal to the first rectilinear segment, the cycles being allied and the electrical cable proper being uninterrupted. The elbows (2a, 2b) are produced by making suitable notches in the flat wings (5a, 5b) of the strip. The rectilinear segments (1a, 1b) are kept regularly spaced by a plurality of rectilinear latchets (6, 7) oriented perpendicularly to the segments. <IMAGE>
