[origin: WO8809761A1] An apparatus for stacking pipes or similar items of round or angular cross-section to form an angular-section stack, the apparatus comprising a stacking table (2) provided with a raising and lowering mechanism, the support surfaces of the table in part corresponding to the shape of the stack to be made, and an inclined feeding plane (4), which is parallel to one side of the stack. The feeding plane (4) constitutes an extension of the support surface of the stacking table (2) at the beginning of the stacking and, respectively, an extension of the lower side of the top layer of items as the stacking progresses. Above the feeding plane (4) there is, parallel to the feeding plane, an upper guide (6), which keeps the arriving flow of items in a single layer, and at the end of the feeding layer there is, adjacent to the stack being formed, a movable edge guide (5) which is synchronized with the movement of the stacking table and can be actuated to delimit that edge of the stack which faces the feeding plane (4). Thus it is not necessary in advance to reserve the number of items for each layer before they are transferred into the stack; instead, the items transfer into the stack almost as one continuous flow and without need for complicated auxiliary mechanisms.

Un appareil, qui sert à empiler des tubes ou des éléments similaires de section transversale arrondie ou angulaire destinés à former une pile de section angulaire, comprend une table d'empilement (2), qui est pourvue d'un mécanisme d'élévation et d'abaissement et dont les sufaces de support correspondent en partie à la forme de la pile à former, et un plan d'avance incliné (4) parallèle à l'un des côtés de la pile. Le plan d'avance (4) constitue un prolongement de la surface de support de la table d'empilement (2) au début de l'opération d'empilement et, respectivement, un prolongement du bord inférieur de la couche supérieure des éléments au fur et à mesure que l'empilement progresse. Au-dessus du plan d'avance (4) est disposé, parallèle au plan d'avance, un organe de guidage supérieur (6), qui maintient la disposition en une seule couche du flux des éléments qui arrive et à l'extrêmité de la couche d'avance est disposé, adjacent à la pile en formation, un organe de guidage de bord mobile (5) qui est synchronisé avec le mouvement de la table d'empilement et qui peut être actionné pour délimiter le bord de la pile qui fait face au plan (4). Il n'est par conséquent pas nécessaire de prévoir le nombre d'éléments compris dans chaque couche avant qu'ils soient transférés dans la pile; par contre, les éléments sont transférés dans la pile presque en un flux continu et sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'utiliser des mécanismes auxiliaires compliqués.
