Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8911263A1] A shovel stretcher comprises novel materials in the region X (parts 1 and 4) which are permeable to X-rays. Only the end parts (2, 3) and the joining elements (31-35) are made of metal. The advantage is that both vertical and lateral X-rays can be taken of an injured person lying on the stretcher. This is particularly advantageous in the case of injuries to the spine.
