Washing and cleansing agents with improved detergency contain, in addition to an alkylglycoside, at least one anionic tenside consisting of (a) a fatty alkylsulphate, (b) an alpha -sulphoester or an alpha -sulphocarbonate, (c) a secondary sulphohydroxyester or a secondary sulphohydroxycarbonate, (d) a secondary dialkylether sulphate or (e) mixtures thereof. The weight ratio of alkylglycoside to anionic tenside is between 1:9 and 9:1.

Wasch- und Reinigungsmittel zeigen eine verbesserte Waschleistung, wenn sie außer einem Alkylglykosid mindestens ein Aniontensid enthalten, das aus (a) einem Fettalkylsulfat, (b) einem α-Sulfoester oder einem α-Sulfocarbonat, (c) einem sekundären Sulfohydroxyester oder einem sekundären Sulfohydroxycarbonat, (d) einem sekundären Dialkylethersulfat oder (e) aus Mischungen von diesen besteht. Dabei liegt das Gewichtsverhältnis Alkylglykosid zu Aniontensid zwischen 1 : 9 und 9 : 1.
