A process and an apparatus for continuous sugar crystallisation with horizontally or vertically arranged crystallisation chambers which are connected to one another by pipelines and have in their interiors baffle-like guide plates and in which different vacua are generated, are described. The guide plates form meandering flow paths appropriate for the temperature or the vacuum. The guide plates have a diametral or chordal arrangement or are concentric cylinders or truncated cones.

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur kontinuierlichen Zuckerkristallisation mit horizontal oder vertikal angeordneten Kristallisationskammern, die untereinander mit Rohrleitungen verbunden sind und in ihrem Inneren wehrartige Leitbleche aufweisen und in denen unterschiedliche Vakua erzeugt werden. Die Leitbleche bilden mäanderförmige Strömungswege entsprechend der Temperatur bzw. des Vakuums. Die Leitbleche sind durchmesserartig oder sehnenartig angeordnet oder sind konzentrische Zylinder oder Kegelstümpfe.
