[origin: EP0371157A1] A network transformer, in particular for coupling the antenna of a nuclear spin tomograph, consists according to the invention of two conductor track structures (10, 11) covering the same area, which are arranged on the opposite flat sides of a substrate (8) provided as dielectric. Each of these conductor track structures (10, 11) contains two patterns of concentric strip conductors (16 to 23) which are arranged mirror-symmetrically in relation to the axes of symmetry (A, B and A', B'). The axes of symmetry (A, B and A', B') extend in parallel to one another and lie opposite one another on the two flat sides. With this embodiment a 4-gate differential transformer without ferromagnetic material is obtained which, viewed both from gate 1 and from gate 2, behaves symmetrically in relation to gates 3 and 4. <IMAGE>
