Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Stapeln von flachen Gegenständen, vorzugsweise von von einer Kunststoffschlauch-oder Halbschlauchbahn abgeschweißten Doppelbeuteln mit im Bereich von deren Mittellinien liegenden Öffnungsrändern, die von einer aus einem sogenannten Wicketer bestehenden Übergabeeinrichtung mit an einer Welle (2) befestigten und um eine horizontale Achse rotierenden, sternartig und paarweise angeordneten Transportarmen (7) auf einer in einer Stapelstation angeordnete, aufragende Stapelstifte (22) oder -nadeln tragenden Halteplatte (20, 21) im Bereich ihrer Längsmittellinie zur Bildung von Stapeln aufgenadelt werden. Die Lösung der Aufgabe, eine Vorrichtung dieser Art zu schaffen, bei der sich bei kontinuierlicher Förderung der flachen Gegenstände Stapel bilden und abfördern lassen, ohne daß kurzfristig Teile der Stapeleinrichtung beschleunigt oder abgebremst werden müssen, liegt darin, daß auf der Welle (2) oder Achse drehbar zwei radiale Halteplatte (20, 21) gelagert sind, die jeweils mit getrennten Antrieben (16, 17) zu deren Verschwenken in ihre die Gegenstände aufnehmende Stapelstellung versehen sind, und daß eine Einrichtung zum Abnehmen der Stapel von den aufeinanderfolgend in die Stapelstellung gedrehten Halteplatten (20, 21) und zu deren Abtransport vorgesehen ist.
