[origin: EP0371352A2] A burglar-proof door or wall in which filler elements consisting of scrap motor-vehicle tyres are used instead of steel skeleton framing and sheeting, the tread length or strips of the same cut out of the scrap tyres being assembled into layered and/or stacked filler elements of mat-like design for a burglar-proof door leaf or a wall of like design and being connected to one another and to the frame part by special fastening elements, as a result of which a burglar-proof door or wall substantially lighter in mass and more cost-effective with regard to the recycling material as well as to manufacture is obtained.
